Break free from your own Glass Box
This is urgent! One in seven young Australians experience a mental health condition. That’s 13.9% of all children and adolescents aged 4-17 years or 560,000* Australians!
To support young people through mental health first aid training in schools.
We design unique GLASS BOX stationery and sell it within our local community. 100% of the profits go to fund mental health first aid training in our high schools.
Young people are the first to know if their friends are experiencing a mental health challenge. Skilling our young people with mental health first aid training means young people will experience increased support that can make a real difference and increased confidence that they know how to help and how to get help.
We want to create a network of support for all young people in local high schools. At first in the Southern Highlands and then….Australia, then the world!
We have all had personal experiences dealing with mental health in our friendships. We know that there needs to be more support for young people in our community.
Glass Box will fund the delivery of Youth MentalHealth First Aid training in our schools.
It teaches participants, over two days, how to assist young people who are developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.

Feel like shouting the GLASS BOX message to your world? That’s who we need for our Ambassador program.
In 2017 the Glass Box team attended a YOUNG CHANGE AGENTS WORKSHOP in the Southern Highlands convened by the local business incubator – herd, Southern Highlands.
YCA is a social entrepreneurship program for 10-18 year olds that helps our youth see problems as opportunities. It provides them with the tools to think creatively, build skills in critical thinking and communication and empowers them to believe that they are good enough to be entrepreneurs, leaders and world changers.
At this workshop we presented to a panel made up of our local bank CEO, our local MP, a young entrepreneur and a philanthropist. Glass Box won the pitch event and attracted support from the local philanthropist to launch their project.
Herd – Southern Highlands, business incubator provides mentor support and Your Angel Charity is providing operational, financial and mentor support.
Three of the team members have attended further training through YCA in Sydney’s Telstra Muru-d incubator facility.
